Celebrate Pentecost Outdoors! All-Age Communion & Festival on 8 June

On Sunday, 8 June 2025, Peace Church celebrates Pentecost and its 41st anniversary with an open-air all-age worship service at 12:00 at Weißenseepark right next to Philippuskirche. Everyone is invited to join – and to bring cake, finger food or drinks for the buffet. Early risers are welcome to help with set-up from 09:00.

Pentecost is a celebration of God's Spirit moving among us – and this year, we're letting that spirit breathe fresh air! On Sunday, 8 June 2025, Peace Church invites you to a Pentecost Open-Air All-Age Communion Service at 12:00 in the Weißenseepark next to Philippuskirche (Chiemgaustr. 7, München-Giesing). It’s also our 41st church anniversary – and we’ll celebrate it with joyful music, storytelling, prayer, and a warm-hearted festival for all generations.

The service will be led together with Tent Ministries and features songs like He Has Made Me Glad, Come On and Celebrate, Over the Mountains and the Sea, Spirit of God, and I, the Lord of Sea and Sky. Communion is open to everyone.

After the service, the celebration continues with festival fun:
🌟 A bouncy castle,
🧗‍♂️ a climbing tower,
⚽ a giant human foosball arena, and
🥗 a shared buffet filled with whatever you bring – cakes, finger food, homemade drinks or special favourites.

Can you help? We’re looking for cheerful, practical helpers to join us from 09:00 (Fly-In Time), with set-up beginning at 09:30. From tents to tech to tables and towers – every pair of hands helps create this shared celebration. Thank you!

📍 Weißenseepark, next to Philippuskirche – easy to reach via U1 St.-Quirin-Platz (less than 5 minutes walk, barrier-free).

Whether you’re a long-time member or a first-time visitor, this day is for you.

In case of rain the service will be conducted in the church sanctuary – and afterwards we will share food and drinks in the fellowship hall.
