Insights: Baptismal Covenant Service 2025

A joyful service of baptism, membership and reaffirmation — followed by a colourful bring & share celebration. A day full of meaning, laughter, and community at its best.

All-Age Baptismal Covenant Service – 20 July 2025, what a Sunday to remember!

Our sanctuary was filled with joy, music, and meaning as we gathered for our All-Age Baptismal Covenant Service. We celebrated the baptism of two children and welcomed a new professing member into the life of Peace Church. As part of the service, all who wished were invited to remember their own baptism and reaffirm their faith — a quiet, meaningful gesture that resonated deeply with many.

With hymns, prayers, and shared promises, the service became a powerful expression of who we are as a church — a community shaped by grace, drawn together by love, and called to live our faith in daily life.

After the service, the celebration continued in the fellowship hall and out in the sunshine of the church yard. Many people had brought food to share — home-cooked dishes, international favourites, sweet treats and savoury delights. The result was a colourful, joy-filled meal that reflected the richness and hospitality of our congregation.

It was a day full of smiles, conversation, photos, and quiet gratitude — not only for our baptisands and our new member, but for the joy of being church together.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make it such a special day — by cooking, singing, welcoming, tidying, or simply being there.
