Confirmation Class
Confirmation Class prepares young people for confirmation and for becoming professing members of The United Methodist Church.
During the two-year programme, participants explore the Christian faith, learn more about the Bible and the church, ask their questions, and reflect on what faith means for their own lives. The group also offers opportunities to grow together, share experiences and take part in camps and other activities.
Most sessions take place approximately once a month, either on a Sunday during the worship service or as a longer Confirmation Class day on a Saturday.
The programme concludes with the Confirmation Service at Peace Church and the Einsegnung at Friedenskirche. During these services, the confirmands receive a special blessing and may choose to become professing members of The United Methodist Church.
The Team
The Confirmation Class Team consists of 4 young people (Irene, Lily, Becky, Nico, Ruth and Ioris) who work together with the senior pastos of Peace Church United Methodist (Alex von Wascinski) and EmK Munich-Friedenskirche (Anke Neuenfeldt).
